What this value means

Qatar levies NO personal income tax on individuals' employment income — salaries, wages and allowances are expressly outside the income tax under Law No. 24 of 2018, for both nationals and expatriates, and individuals file no annual income-tax return on wages. Hence value: null (a positively established structural absence, not a missing figure). The one narrow exception is NOT a personal income tax on wages: a self-employed individual carrying on a business/independent professional activity may fall within the same 10% corporate/business income tax on Qatar-source business profits (the corporate-tax regime), not a wage tax. There is also no capital gains tax on individuals' personal (non-business) assets and no net-wealth tax. Source: GTA (gta.gov.qa), the national tax authority.
